Meet Benjamin Weinberg...
For many years, Unfiltered, Unfined and Tour Talk Editor-in-Chief Ben Weinberg (www.wineontheroad.com, previously published in Denver Magazine and as “Weinberg’s Wine Notes” in the Rocky Mountain News) penned “Weinberg's Wine Tech,” a column focused on beverage and food technologies in Sommelier Journal, where he has also been frequently featured. He has been the Rocky Mountain Editor for The Tasting Panel Magazine and has written for The World of Fine Wine, Wine Enthusiast, Wines & Vines, Wine Country International, Nation’s Restaurant News, Worth Magazine, Where Magazine, Denver Magazine, and The Colorado Statesman. Ben also authors the Wine Roads travel ebook series in conjunction with Board and Bench (formerly the Wine Appreciation Guild).

Brian Freedman is a food, wine, spirits, and travel writer, restaurant and beverage consultant, drinks educator, and event host and speaker. He is Editor-in-Chief of Drink Me Magazine, contributing writer for John Mariani’s Virtual Gourmet and Philadelphia Style Magazine, restaurant critic and beverage columnist for Philadelphia Weekly and Suburban Life, and contributes to others. He hosts beverage-focused dinners and seminars through On The Front Vines, his gastro-consulting company, has consulted on wine lists for several dinners at New York’s prestigious James Beard House, has maintained relationships with private clients as a personal sommelier, and has traveled to nearly two dozen countries for his work.
PIEDMONT: Farm-to-Table Expert Jill Paradis
Jill Paradis has been working with top Colorado restaurants for more than 15 years, starting out as a program coordinator for Share Our Strength, where she provided cooking classes and volunteer chefs to underserved communities. A sommelier and cheese aficionado, Jill now divides her time between Colorado and Piedmont, Italy, where she lives on a 5-acre farm in the small hilltop village of Maretto d’Asti with her husband, Giulio, and their dogs, Bella and Yampa, who occasionally find truffles! She also makes wine, grows hazelnuts, and runs the Monferrato Farm, an experiential learning place where language skills and creative culinary training come together. In 2004, Jill created Culinary Translations, a consultancy that provides corporate training to some of Colorado’s best eateries. An adjunct faculty member at Colorado Mountain College, she is fluent in Spanish and Italian, and loves to travel and explore new cultures and cuisines.

Jimmy Cefalo is an American journalist, news and sports broadcaster, radio talk show host, voice of the Miami Dolphins, businessman, former NFL wide receiver, and wine enthusiast whose family has made wine for more than 150 years. Brenda Bassett spent 13 years with the world's largest foodservice hospitality educator before going into business with Jimmy in 2002. Aaron Foster, whose passion for wine runs deep, has been a part of the Denver food and beverage scene for more than 15 years, working his way through some of the best restaurants in town before landing as General Manager and Wine Director at Fruition. When putting a wine list together, Aaron always looks for bottles that speak to their sense of place. Although he enjoys learning about all parts of the wine world, Burgundy, which has become his true love, is a great example of his focus on terroir. A Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers, Aaron also has a background in viticulture and enology.
OREGON: Table 6's Chief Bottle Washer Aaron Forman
After cutting his teeth at Restaurant Terroir, Chicago native Aaron Forman studied under chefs Jeff Osaka of Twelve Restaurant and Joel Holland, executive chef of Chipotle International. Aaron then moved on to Adega, Kaos Pizza, Proximus Tequila and ClubW.com. He now spends most of his time at Table 6, which recently celebrated its ninth birthday. Aaron has established amazing relationships in the world of food and wine and is thrilled to share his journey. “I love food and wine because I get to experience a big world in a little box.”
OREGON: Table 6's Evan Williams
Evan Williams, one of Table 6's most valued employees, is a Certified Sommelier and has been a member of the Court of Master Sommeliers since 2006. He is currently studying for his Advanced exam and hopes to achieve that status by the end of 2014. He started his restaurant career at age 14, washing dishes at a restaurant up the street from his parent’s house. In his last two years of college at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, he caught the wine bug while waiting tables at an award winning restaurant. He has been passionately studying and working in fine dining ever since. Evan loves to travel to wine regions around the world and is an avid skier. He was married in 2011 and has a young daughter.
SANTA BARBARA, CALIFORNIA: Wine Oh TV's Founder and Host Monique Soltani
Wine Oh TV’s Monique Soltani, a professional broadcaster for more than a decade, honed her reporting skills at television stations across the country including KPIX-TV/CBS 5, KNTV-TV/NBC 11, KSEE-TV/NBC 24, KCBS-TV/CBS 2, KGTV-TV/ABC 10, and KPVI-TV/NBC 6. She has covered wine for more than five years and has also been certified by the Court of Master Sommeliers, is an experienced wine judge, and has interviewed more than 200 winemakers, top chefs, and A-list celebrities. In 2012, Monique created Wine Oh TV to share her love of wine, journalism and television with the world. She travels extensively but lives in San Francisco with her husband Mark.

Born and raised in Milan, Italy, Andrea Frizzi developed a passion for fine Italian cooking at an early age.
